Kershaw Health has RN opportunities available in our new Geriatric Psychiatry Unit opening in September. We specialize in elder care issues, including behavioral and health needs, medication management, and conditions specific to those age 65 years and older including Alzheimer’s disease, depression, anxiety, as well as other mental illnesses or behavioral health concerns.
As an RN you will coordinate nursing care and patient/family education for Geriatric psychiatric patients through the use of the nursing process; maintain positive working relationships with staff and other departments to provide optimal quality outcomes within the framework of professional nursing practice. Responsibilities are met according to hospital policy, hospital mission statement and the philosophy of the Department of Nursing.
