The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) functions as the professional leader of an interdisciplinary health care team. In collaboration with the Nurse Manager (NM), the ANM functions as a supervisor and assumes accountability for the operational functions of Acute Inpatient Psychiatry. The incumbent should be familiar with the care of mental health patients, protocols, and daily operations and supervises care in accordance with established standards and hospital policies and procedures.
