St. Peter's Health Partners is seeking an additional Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist for the outpatient program at Samaritan Hospital located in Troy, New York.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an excellent team of caregivers at our highly regarded behavioral health program. We have clinic care available and three inpatient units offering 63 beds for inpatient care with mental health, MICA, and Gero-psychiatry units.

The largest program of its type in the region, Samaritan Hospital offers a broad spectrum of services from emergency care to outpatient care. We are seeking a full-time Psychiatrist for outpatient care of adults with weeknight and weekend call rotation. The psychiatrist will work with an interdisciplinary team that provides specialized care to meet the medical, psychiatric, and social needs of the adult patient.

The selected Psychiatrist will join a team of eight employed Psychiatrists and five Psychiatric NPs. The Psychiatrist will provide outpatient clinic coverage for patients at the Samaritan Hospital campus and will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary treatment team.

The schedule for this opportunity is days, Monday through Friday, with 1:7 weekend call. Call is supported by Psychiatric NPs.

Interested candidates should have the following:

• MD or DO
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Experience treating an adult psychiatric patient population
• DEA Licensure/NYS licensure required
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
