ChristianaCare, Outpatient Behavioral Health is looking for a Senior Medical Assistant.

ChristianaCare's Outpatient Behavioral Health located in Wilmington, Delaware. ChristianaCare Outpatient Behavioral Health is a team of behavioral-health professionals who offer comprehensive evaluation and treatment. They offer treatment and therapy for almost any problem related to emotional or mental health, including post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety and panic attacks, depression, relationship and family problems, bipolar disorder, issues of transition, loss, and grief, and many more.

You would be joining a team of psychiatrists, advanced practice clinicians, psychologists, behavioral health therapists, social workers, psychiatric nurses, medical assistants, and office assistants.

Work Schedule:

• This is a full-time Monday to Friday position (8am to 4:30pm)

Education Requirements:

• A graduate of a recognized Medical Office Assistant Program or
• Hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
• 2 years' experience as a Medical Assistant is required; 3 years' experience is preferred
  

Qualification Requirements:

• To operate as a team leader and mentor of office staff in the practice to facilitate functions and duties.
• Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and foster professional relationships in a team environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred but not required.
