The Nurse Practitioner (Wound Care) functions as an independent practitioner, as well as function in a variety of roles in collaboration with other health care professionals. He/she is a direct care provider in the Geriatrics & Extended Care Service whose responsibilities may also include education, research, consultation and administrative roles.
