This position is located in the Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery Center (PRRC) in the Mental Health Service at the Charles George VA Medical Center, Asheville, NC. The PRRC Psychologist serves as part of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality recovery-oriented care to Veterans with serious mental illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and chronic PTSD. Duties include assessment, individual and group psychotherapy in a milieu-based treatment program. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
