The Fayetteville VAMC is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as the Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit. The ICU nurse is a direct care provider whose scope of practice includes providing nursing care for patients in the ICU. The ICU RN is accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing care, including the triage of patients based on acuity and the demonstrated ability to appropriately classify patient to provide emergent or Intensive care to patient. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
