Atlantic Health System is Seeking an Outpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for a Great Opportunity in Northern New Jersey
Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the Department of Psychiatry at Morristown Medical Center at our newly renovated outpatient office in Florham Park, New Jersey. By joining the robust department, comprised of 13 psychiatrists, 2 APNs, and 1 PA, the candidate will have the support of a number of additional Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists. This position offers a great work/life balance, with a flexible 9am-5pm schedule.
The ideal candidate will oversee and provide patient care for children and adolescents with psychiatric needs referred from an inpatient psychiatric unit, the Psychiatric Emergency Services, the Child and Adolescent Consultation Liaison Service, and from AHS and community Pediatric providers. The candidate's responsibilities as an Outpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist will encompass comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for children and adolescents. The candidate will also serve as a role model for clinical excellence and participate in weekly treatment team meetings for Pediatric Psychiatry. Additionally, the candidate will provide clinical mentorship to Advanced Practice Nurses in the outpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatry program and collaborate with key quality and safety leaders to ensure high-quality psychiatric care. The candidate will assist with cross coverage, as needed, for the the Pediatric Psychiatry Collaborative "Hub". Finally, the candidate will assume all responsibilities as a member of the Department of Psychiatry, including cross-coverage at the main campus as needed and participation in on-call and per-diem coverage, as assigned by the Department Chair.

- Board Certification or Board Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with developments in the field of psychiatry
- Demonstrated ability to teach and mentor trainees (e.g., Advanced Practice Providers, residents, and medical students)
- Familiarity with federal and state standards for psychiatric care
- Demonstrated success working individually and as part of a team
