This position is within our Refresh Mental Health (RMH) organization at Life Strategies, which provides a variety of behavioral and mental health treatments, including individual and group therapy, schools, home health, and outpatient programs.
LCSI offers counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and group psychotherapy in a warm, safe and supportive environment. We also support schools, home health, and outpatient programs. Services are offered for a wide variety of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, stress, childhood abuse and trauma, family and relationship issues, grief and loss, and addiction recovery.

We seek a medical director-psychiatrist for full-time positions in Jonesboro, AR.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provides psychiatric care, medication assessments, and crisis response to new and existing outpatient clients
Develops individual evaluations based upon assessment data and provides therapeutic interventions as necessary, including ongoing medication management services
Review, evaluate, and collaborate with other professionals to discuss treatment plans, progress, and outcomes
Provides consultation and health education to agency staff and clients regarding the treatment and medication needs of agency clients
Responsive to psychiatric emergencies for appropriate intervention and evaluations

Required Qualifications:
MD/DO psychiatrist licensed in Arkansas
Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families
Solid computer and basic technology skills
